Situated in the heart of Dorking’s Meadowbank Park, Silvermere’s newly established Softplay Centre is an accessible and inclusive space for children and young people to unleash their natural energy through movement, play, and connection to others.
Our warm and welcoming café – serving a delicious range of homemade, locally sourced food and drinks – is the perfect space for members of the public, community groups, friends, and well-behaved pooches (we are dog friendly!) to relax and connect.
As we grow, our aim is for Silvermere Softplay to become a thriving hub for the community, where everyone – young and old – feels welcome. Later this year, we will be introducing structured movement-based groups to enhance wellbeing and connection for adults, as well as for children and young people. Silvermere Softplay’s Pre-School Sessions provide the perfect opportunity for your little bundle of energy to connect and play with others. From bumpy slides to ball pools, train puzzles to LED light tubes, your little one will have a fantastic time exploring our toddler-tastic play areas!

Silvermere Softplay’s Softplay Structure was designed, manufactured and installed by House of Play: Europe’s leading suppliers of Indoor Playgrounds, Soft Play Equipment, Trampoline Parks, Sensory Equipment and Outdoor Play Equipment.
Since 1994, House of Play have been the top specialists in the building and supplying of bespoke, state of the art, softplay equipment in the UK. Silvermere feel extremely lucky to be running a softplay centre whose structure has been manufactured and installed by House of Play, not only because of the fantastic facility that they have provided us with, but because of their consistent attention to detail around health and safety.

Boasting plenty of space and a friendly atmosphere in the heart of Meadowbank Park, Café Connect is the ideal spot for members of the Dorking community to work, meet friends, or simply enjoy some time to relax.
Our three passions are simple: great coffee, fantastic locally sourced food and (most importantly) to connect! Our primary aim with Café Connect was to create a community hub where everyone feels welcome to stop by and connect with each other – whether it be catching up with old friends, holding a community group meeting or taking a break from working at home.
When it comes to our fabulous food, we take care to ensure everything on menu is fresh and locally sourced – even our milk is farm fresh from the local village of Capel! Our menu includes a delicious array of homebaked goods and savouries, as well as freshly made stonebaked pizza with a variety of tasty toppings. If you have any allergies or intolerances, we will always do our best to cater for your needs and will provide a listening ear for any recommendations of how to improve.
To keep things moving efficiently, we have a separate dedicated serving team for our softplay centre. This helps us to provide a great service to both our softplay customers as well as members of the public.
Lucky enough to be nestled within Meadowbank Park, we are pleased to offer sustainable takeaway cups and containers. This means you can grab your coffee, head off to the park and still be kind to the planet!
For dog friendly days out in Dorking, did you know Café Connect welcomes dogs, as well as their pawrents? Perfectly located next to Meadowbank Recreation Ground, you can pop in and see us before, during or after your morning walk. All well behaved pooches are welcome in the Café as long as they are on leads.
If they are lucky, we might offer them a treat and take a picture for our doggo hall of fame!
While our Café is dog friendly, the Softplay area is for children only – please do not allow your pets in the softplay area.
Do your kids love keeping active? Are you stuck for ideas over the summer holidays? We will be running Play Camps over school holidays to offer kids the opportunity to play, move, connect and even get creative! Keep posted on our socials for more updates and information soon.
We partner with local charitable organisations in our area to provide free entry for families that they support. Our customers have the opportunity to pay half an adult and child entry at £5, and we top up the remaining balance!
If you are interested in donating, please ask a member of our team who can put this through the till for you and tell you who our current partner organisation is.
We do not have on site parking at the softplay facility, our nearest carpark is St Martins walk (approx. 3 minute walk away – or 5 mins for little feet!)
